Newt is the operations supervisor of Warwick Ambulance. In his 31 years of EMS experience, he has worked throughout Lancaster & Dauphin Counties. Newt was instrumental in bringing Paramedic services to the Warwick area to enhance the quality of prehospital care. When he is not working, Newt enjoys baseball, classic rock, movies & fine dinning. Dr. Newman has over 40 years experiece in EMS. After serving in the Korean war, he returned to Elizabethtown and started private practice. In the late 1970's, ALS was an emerging concept in Lancaster & throughout the county and Dr. Newman was at the forefront of Lancaster County EMS. In addition to the Lititz area, Dr. Newman brought ALS to Elizabethownand the surrounding communities. Since that time he has been a inovative voice in Lancaster County EMS. |
